Today I stumbled across an interesting post by an author in Regina Canada. He did a flight across Canada and posted the screenshots with some nice descriptions. Whether you visit the country by virtual or real means, there’s lots to see in this country!
Flight simulators have always been part of my life. Ever since I was 15 playing Microsoft Flight Simulator on an old IBM XT PC, the simulation has led me to find new things in the real world. Sometimes, even most of the time I recognized places I visited in real life from the scenery in the sim. Today I found an interesting blog by a Canadian guy who posted pictures of his flights across Canada. Hope you enjoy these pictures I have linked too! This is the coast of Chile last March. After visiting Santiago in Microsoft Flight Simulator, it was nice to see the actual thing.
Now here is that interesting blog link. Especially fun for me since I have drove or flown around a good part of Canada. There are still a couple of corners I’d like to get to like the Yukon or Quetico. Maybe this summer, you never know!
